Hi, I’m Nurse Barbara

I am driven by my own journey. Persevering through alcoholism, being overweight and all around unhealthy. I have suffered from alcoholism, IBS, chronic inflammation and restless leg syndrome. I have been sober for almost 2 ½ years. After I stopped drinking my passion for health blossomed. I have lost 50lbs and kept it off. I am the happiest and healthiest I have ever been! Every day I work with patients that have multiple comorbidities and not much quality of life. My passion for functional medicine comes from a drive to educate my patients on illness prevention or reversal as well as researching the root cause of why they aren’t feeling well. I want to give my patients the best fighting chance to be the best version of themselves. To live a life of quality, to feel well.
